We keep going in the lockdown. There are new releases, and still new music coming through, and buying music right now is the only way we can help. The events listing is still being updated, but obviously an awful lot is being postponed, cancelled or changed right now.

/transmission – the amodelofcontrol.com podcast – has returned, continuing the run through of the a-z of industrial, with all episodes thus far are here. The latest episode is /transmission/021, which starts on the letter N. /transmission/022 will follow soon.
You can also get it via RSS, on iTunes, on Stitcher, and is also now available on the Google Podcasts App (search “amodelofcontrol”) and Spotify too.
If you want to submit anything to be included here? E-mail me (You know what to do with that to make it work, right?), comment/message on Facebook at the amodelofcontrol.com page, and over on Twitter (@amodelofcontrol).
/This Week/New Releases
The Jean-Marc Lederman Experience releases their new album this week – Letters to God (and Fallen Angels). You can still read /Talk Show Host/062 with Jean-Marc on this site, where he talks more about the album.
Also out this week: Mrs. Piss (the new collaboration between Chelsea Wolfe and Jess Gowrie) releases Self-Surgery – although at just eighteen minutes in length, I’d hesitate to call this excellent release an album – while Behemoth have become the latest to cover A Forest, with an admittedly impressive EP (particularly the savage live take). Also, the well-regarded Drøne collective in Manchester have a new compilation out, with proceeds going to local charities.
A couple of notable new songs – the first new Consolidated track in years is Capitalism, and if you missed it, I caught up with Adam Sherburne on /Talk Show Host/063 this week, while Eyes of Another is members of Amenra meets techno producer Cellini, and the first track from the collaboration is surprisingly restrained.
/This Week/Upcoming Releases
The first new Dismantled song in some time, No Escape is the precursor to new album Endless, that is now being worked on – and is a welcome to return to the sound that we loved in the first place. The new album from Bestial Mouths, RESURRECTEDINBLACK also comes later in the summer, but in the meantime they’ve released new single INDUSTRIAL WASTE.
Then, PJ Harvey’s Dry – and subsequently a fair proportion of her back-catalogue on vinyl? Yes please…
/Upcoming/Gigs/Club Nights/Events
Obviously things have rather changed right now, and I’m updating events as they are postponed or cancelled, and also including relevant Livestreams as they are announced.
This weekly listing has now seen a significant overhaul, and has moved over to a Shareable calendar format that is embedded below. You can add it to your own calendar views if you wish (GCal link, iCal link), and then you will get dynamic updates as I get them. Otherwise see the embedded calendar below.
If you have updates, relevant events for me, or want to tell me about something else, use the contact details above.
