Another Friday, another round-up. As always this is a look at upcoming releases, relevant music news and upcoming events and gigs worth spending some of your time at. It is by no means an exhaustive list, and I’m always on the lookout for more to include.

transmission – the amodelofcontrol.com podcast – has resumed the run through of the a-z of industrial, with transmission: 003 and transmission: 004 joining 001 and 002 online recently, and we’ll be continuing with d on transmission: 005 very soon. You can also get it via RSS, on iTunes, on Stitcher.
If you want to submit anything to be included here? E-mail me (You know what to do with that to make it work, right?), comment/message on Facebook at the amodelofcontrol.com page, and over on Twitter (@amodelofcontrol).
New posts on the way include a couple more interviews and reviews, and Transmission: 005 (the latter of which I’m going to try and get online on Saturday before we’re away for a few days). There will be no Tuesday Ten next week, Tuesday Ten: 325 will be posted on 20-March.

New and Upcoming Releases this week
Another week with lots of new releases to get excited about.
Announced for Infest this year recently, the hotly-tipped ACTORS release It Will Come To You, while their labelmates on Artoffact Records Ritualz release Doom.
Long-running industrial project ESA releases That Beast (reviewed on this site last week, on But Listen: 158), The Men That Will Not Be Blamed For Nothing are back with Double Negative, and Ministry have been inspired by the shitty political situation right now, apparently, with AmeriKKKant.
Then, announced overnight, 3TEETH / Ho99o9 have confirmed their split Lights Out 7″ (with two tracks, the already heard Lights Out and now Time’s Up – the latter of which absolutely slays).
One more new album announcement this week – Praise the Lard, the mighty Watts returns with new PIG album Risen, out 08-June. Fingers crossed for some more UK dates…
Finally, though, one I’d rather missed – Primordial return with Exile Amongst The Ruins on 30-March.

Other Things
This week Infest added STRVNGERS and Zeitgeist Zero to the line-up.
The big announcement this week was the start of the band announcements for the 25th Anniversary of Meltdown at the South Bank Centre, which, curated by Robert Smith has a frankly amazing lineup. For starters, featuring the Manics, 65daysofstatic, Mogwai, Placebo, Alcest, Deftones, Kristin Hersh, My Bloody Valentine, Mono and…Nine Inch Nails. Tickets onsale next week.
The other surprise this week was that Richard Patrick appears to be working with Brian Liesgang again for the next Filter release, and the first snippets sound amazing.
Finally, opinion was sharply divided this week on the news that the NME is ending in printed form today (today’s will be the last issue), but this look back at some iconic covers by those that wrote the stories is a good one.
