2024 has started quickly with a whole host of release announcements, new songs and a variety of surprising tours coming up: so unsurprisingly, I’ve got a lot of tracks to cover with twenty featured (again) this month.

A double dose of 1997 this month, after Infest (and of course the writing of Memory of a Festival: 028 that followed it) took up my time at the end of August.
Back in the mists of time (in other words, back in 2009), I did a rundown of – according to me – the best songs and albums of the past decade, and then followed it up with similar treatment of the 90s. Although, I only ever got the best songs done.
