/Tuesday Ten /494 /Now There’s Nothing
I can’t recall where this one first came up, but it might have been thanks to hearing a song that triggered the thought. Anyway, this week is about nothing.

An intriguing, and sometimes busy, first month in my new job has seen a fair bit of travel, and thus time to listen to new music (as well as old favourites). So here we go with this month’s /Tracks of the Month. [cardoza_facebook_like_box] /Tuesday Ten/485/Tracks of the Month /Subject /Tracks of the Month /Playlists /Spotify […]
Sometimes, it feels like my life is simply following a long list of instructions. How to work the various equipment in our homes and offices, how to use transport, how to get somewhere, the recipes we follow. Weather warnings, travel advice, reminders about things to do from friends and partners. How to do our jobs.
This year’s statistics – I saw 51 days worth of gigs and 156 live sets. It featured 140 different bands, and I saw sixteen twice – and all that lot were in two countries (England and Belgium) and four different cities (London, Bradford, Leeds and Sint-Niklaas).
Another Friday, another round-up. As always this is a look at upcoming releases, relevant music news and upcoming events and gigs worth spending some of your time at. It is by no means an exhaustive list, and I’m always on the lookout for more to include. This week this is a double dose after having […]

The subject of lies and deception, perhaps not unexpectedly, unleashed a torrent of potential songs for this week – even if I covered Betrayal a few years ago. Indeed there are so many songs that I could have featured that I could probably do a second ten sometime.
While I’ve covered nuclear war (/Tuesday Ten/109), various other parts of past history (/Tuesday Ten/047), not to mention American Politics (/Tuesday Ten/056), I’ve never looked directly at war (although judging on my notes I’ve certainly looked at the idea in the past). And in this week of Remembrance Day, it is maybe time to do […]
The fourth instalment of this lengthy rundown.
Ideas for future Tuesday Tens are coming thick and fast at the moment, and indeed I have the core of two more already completed too, and this week’s was a late change of plan, mainly after I realised just how many songs could be included. So the other two I have planned will be held […]
