Another Friday, another round-up. As always this is a look at upcoming releases, relevant music news and upcoming events and gigs worth spending some of your time at. It is by no means an exhaustive list, and I’m always on the lookout for more to include.
It’s unlikely that there will be much more content on amodelofcontrol.com for the coming week – I’ve got a busy few days before my birthday on Saturday, and I’m spending the whole weekend at Bloodstock. Needless to say there will be a review of said festival from my perspective online next week.
Back in the mists of time (in other words, back in 2009), I did a rundown of – according to me – the best songs and albums of the past decade, and then followed it up with similar treatment of the 90s. Although, I only ever got the best songs done.
This was really meant to be a top 100, but when my girlfriend and I pulled together an initial “long list” a few weeks ago, that was way beyond 300 songs.
