New and Upcoming Releases this week
Covenant made their tour-only physical release Fieldworks Exkursion available on streaming platforms this week, and it is genuinely a great release. It is a bit different, mind. Look out for coverage on amodelofcontrol.com in the coming weeks.
While 3TEETH dropped the lead single for their upcoming third album overnight – American Landfill is the track, video to follow later today (along with confirmation of the new album details and release date, too).
Other releases this week: Rhys Fulber + Blush Response have teamed up for Corruption of Form, Gazelle Twin released Fool on, of course, 01-April, and Six By Seven released Something Wild, recorded live at their excellent Nottingham show last week.
Oh, and Mighty Atom Records released an EP of remastered, broadly unreleased Liberty 37 songs this week – of the four tracks, though, the mighty Pig was once a B-side (and very much the highlight of their live sets, too).
Experimental band Heilung – now the fuss over their extraordinary (live) debut album has died down – are back for more, with new single Norupo out now and new album FUTHA out next month.
Also coming soon: new Slighter album Automata, new FIRES album All Of My Dreams Are Of This Place, and at last a new Cure album, although not for a few months yet from what I can tell.

Other Music News
Unexpected but welcome news is that 3TEETH is supporting Ministry this summer (which includes the UK shows).
Also, the Cold Waves line-up is pretty badass this year – and yes, amodelofcontrol.com is intending on covering the festival again after a couple of years away.
