We’re at the end of the year, nearly, and so my annual roundup of the best music of the year, in the form of /Countdown /2025, begins on Tuesday. As usual there will be four posts across four Tuesdays in December, looking at (in turn) the best compilations and reissues, then the best tracks, best albums, and best gigs.
This post is a roundup of (relevant to this site) new and upcoming music, a nod to upcoming events and livestreams both from this website and others, and also a catchup of what I’ve posted recently. Thanks to everyone who sends me new music and events, keeps me up to speed, and indeed simply reads these posts.
