Another Friday, another round-up. As always this is a look at upcoming releases, relevant music news and upcoming events and gigs worth spending some of your time at. It is by no means an exhaustive list, and I’m always on the lookout for more to include.

New and Upcoming Releases this week
A bit of a catch-up this week, as there isn’t a great deal out this week worth writing about.
That said, The Body return with yet another tough listen in the form of I Have Fought Against It, But I Can’t Any Longer.
Onto the catching-up, then. Somehow I neglected to mention that the excellent new Frank Turner album Be More Kind came out last week, and also that Bloody Knives released a new album last month (White Light Black Moon).
There have also been a number of noteworthy Hands Productions releases, too. Following the festival, there is Forms of Hands 18, Blac Kolor released Awakening, and Maschinenkrieger KR52 vs. Disraptor released Riot.
Announced yesterday was the latest Nine Inch Nails EP Bad Witch, which is out on 22-June. In addition Death Grips released the first single (Streaky) from their upcoming new album.

Other Things
TIDAL faking plays for mass royalty payments to labels for certain releases? I’m actually amazed no-one has tried this before – or at least been caught for it. I wonder what else will come out of this?
Sad news is that it would appear that the body of Frightened Rabbit singer Scott Hutchison has been found.
Finally, sharks apparently love jazz (if there’s food in it for them). Nice. But not classical, though.
