September 30, 2023 @ 19:00 - 02:00 BST

Mortasha Kinski is delighted to be presenting Attrition and Pilgrims of Yearning, live in London.

ATTRITION are pioneers in a darker electronica. Formed in 1980 in Coventry, England, influenced by a mix of punk ideology and experimental art aesthetics, they emerged as part of the early ’80’s UK Industrial scene alongside contemporaries Coil, Test Department, Legendary Pink Dots, In The Nursery, Portion Control et al.Founder Martin Bowes has steered the band through a 40 year career, fuelled by a succession of critically acclaimed albums. Attrition’s newest album, The Black Maria, was released in 2021.

The band has regularly toured Europe, North America and South America, Russia and Asia, appeared at major festivals and had their music included on a number of TV and film soundtracks.

This will be the UK debut show for PILGRIMS OF YEARNING, originally from Chile, now based in Boston. Pilgrims of Yearning’s core of Juls Garat and Claudio Marcio’s progressed from their previous band Amöniacö, with whom they supported The Cure at Estadio Nacional in Chile in 2013. Pilgrims of Yearning have released 2 EPs and 1 full length album since 2018. Their music is a blend of melodic Latin Post-Punk/Dark/Alternative/Wave/Goth.

There will be plenty of dancing afterwards, with DJ Mortasha Kinski until 2am.
