We are now deep into the Advent season, the Doofmas tree is up, and the inevitable sound of jingly bells permeates all musical choices. How long can Doof hold the line before the presenters give in to the lure of shiny things, go full Mariah or send everyone to Whamhalla? Tune in - if you dare!

As if the Yuletide period wasn't confusing enough, due to another DJ booking, the Doof has been shunted forward a day. Join us for a Wonky Wednesdoof as we gird our fur-covered loins in readiness for another festive foray into the unknown and unknowable.

Here we are, rounding out another year in the same confusing manner in which it started... join us on our regular Thursday slot for the Doof Office Party, which will now doubt contain a mountain of beige food, much talk of cheese, and an additionally festive smattering of tunes, impeded only by the serving suggestions provided by The Wheel. Deck the halls, mull the wine, check there's enough toner in the photocopier and join us for a buffet of bangers! Just one more Doff til Christmas!

It's that confusing bit between Christmas & New Year, and we are reliably informed tomorrow is Thursday. We weren't sure who'd join us for a post-festive leftovers show with a heavy scrabbling around in the back of the fridge vibe, but we're going to find out... It's time to turn over a new leaf, start a brand new diary and step bravely into 2023 - whatever this next year has in store for us all, we will be doing our best to provide you with shiny distractions, a siren call for the lovely Doof community and morst importantly, reminding you of which day of the week it is. Our first show of 2023 was a sprightly affair, choc-full of residual festive cheer. We are through the darkest season and looking forward into the light, as we continue to denote the passing of a thursday, a lurch into the weekend and an increasing vocabulary of ever more complex in-jokes. Truly amazing that despite more than 600 hours on air, we are finding new and exotic ways of breaking things and discovering new gremlins hiding in the ramshackle inner workings of the Doof. Despite this, we soldier ever onward and aim to keep the shape of your week intact, providing multi-colored distractions with a growing vocabulary of complex in-jokes. Join us as we add more lore to the lawless and continue to construct our own version of reality in a small corner of the universe.

Our final show of January sees us beckoning forth the lighter evenings with a well-curated selection of wilfully eclectic musical choices, conversational confusion and the loveliest little online community you could hope to find on a Thursday evening. After wonking up our First Doof of February, we are back to our regularly scheduled time slot, with everything else just as irregular as it normally is. Join our loyal community of Doofers for more solid selections and rapidly escalating in-jokes.
