Optional Dress-code: As this is a themed event revolving around futuristic, cyber and the post-apocalypse, we welcome all attendees to dress up! Think cyber, steampunk, futuristic, avant garde, apocalypse (Blade Runner, Mad Max, Fallout, Tron, just about any media of that genre!) and whatever else you think might fit. Get creative!
Door Policy: This is a strictly 18+ event. ID will be checked on the door on a Challenge 25 basis so please being a passport or driving license, as you will be denied entry if you cannot prove your age when asked

Reading’s original goth/alternative club, raising generations of goths on whatever we felt was appropriate (or inappropriate) at the time has risen from the grave after the worldwide pandemic reminded us that friends are everything. The regular (and many of the guest) DJs have gone on to run other clubs or form bands across the UK, with many still active in the scene 20+ years later (Don’t do the maths!)
With past guests pulled from clubs across uk clubs as well as international celebrities Seize, Mark Jackson and Daniel Myer.
Since lockdown has eased we’ve taken the chance to finally pull Church of Madness out of it’s long retirement and regenerate into in it’s new quarterly Vs.. mode. It’s almost Church of Madness Turbo edition where our guests could be bringing music from anywhere and everywhere!
