On the 2nd of March 2020 a great human being and great friend to many of us was taken before his time by Cancer. Chris Au was one of the most well-known and well-liked people amongst the South Wales music scene (and way, way beyond) and he sadly passed just days before his 38th birthday.

Since then the pandemic has prevented many of us from being able to truly celebrate his life in as many ways as we would have wished, but that’s not going to stop us from continuing to do so.

March 5th 2022 would have been Chris’ big 4.0 and as such it was proposed to me that a marathon music stream of ridiculous proportions (designed to raise money for three charities in Chris’ name) was both a good idea and sufficiently insane that Chris would have both loved it and laughed his head off as he watched me turn into a sleep-deprived zombie as the hours tick on.

As such I give you CHRIS*AU*CLYSM – a 40 hour Twitch livestream filled with more music than a stick can possibly shaken at.

Thankfully I am not alone for this endeavour as a whole host of DJs and musicians have been approached to help out, and many have very kindly already said a resounding yes so over the coming days and weeks I will be announcing each wonderful guest that will be assisting with this marathon task.

So, join me (and many others) on Friday March 4th from 11am as we provide 40 (yes, FORTY) whole hours of music to celebrate Chris and pay tribute in a proper way. The stream will be located on Twitch at www.twitch.tv/DJScoundrel.

There will be no obligations to donate (Chris just loved music so just enjoying some tunes will be more than a great tribute to the man), but a link will be up during the stream to donate and funds raised will be split between three chosen charities which are:
