Black Volition play a rare Full band line up show in London!

BLACK VOLITION
Take a trip through the Sleepy towns, Lonesome woods and Dark Cabaret of David Lynch’s Twin Peaks.. then transport yourself to the back streets and gloomy swamps of a Vampire ridden Louisiana in True Blood via a desert valley of Spaghetti Westerns. Combine these Worlds and you will reach the perfect soundtrack to this Melancholy Universe BLACK VOLITION.
BLACK VOLITION is a musical project from Reza Udhin from Inertia / Killing Joke, creating the first album “Sea of Velvet Rays” together with Guitarist Will Crewdson from Rachel Stamp / Adam Ant / Flesh For Lulu / The Selector / Scant Regard.

The ever revolving line up also includes Ollie Cater (Inertia), Spike T Smith (ex The Damned, ex Morrissey, Conflict), Gary Day (ex Morrissey), and Bob Malkowski (Inertia, The Modern), Andrew Lowlife (Inertia, Swarf), Blue Jigsaw (Inertia). Think Dirgy Blues, Dark Cabaret, Twisted Electronics, Dusty Jazz, Spaghetti Westerns and a sorrowful song and you are on track to creating the sound of BLACK VOLITION in your imagination. Black Volition have grown very rapidly in the UK since their inception in 2014 and have attracted a very healthy widespread audience within the Dark Alternative genre and Twin Peaks communities.

The Music video for their single “Rivers” was shown at The UK Twin Peaks convention at Genesis Cinema, Mile End, London.

The band have performed several eclectic shows including main support slots for The Fields of Nephilm, Voltaire (USA) and Jace Everett (Bad Things / True Blood).
Also playing at Whitby Goth Weekend (UK), The Bearded Theory festival (UK), Lumous Festival (Finland) and Darkland Fire Festival in Estonia. In 014, the year of the band’s inception, Black Volition performed a special Christmas sold out show at the legendary St Pancras Old Church in London’s King’s Cross.

The band’s very first shows were playing main support in London for two shows (The Garage and Surya) to original Nirvana drummer, Chad Channing’s band Before Cars.
A new EP “Maison Boulevard” was released in 2020, written by Reza & Ollie, following a US Tour with their other band Inertia and a few days roaming the dead quarters of New Orleans.
A new EP is planned for 2022 and live shows with a new full band line up.
