Immerse yourself in the sonic treasures of alt-pop, indie-rock, new folk, disco and electronica genres at our exclusive and intimate live music night. Set in Folkestone’s newest fairground-themed independent music venue, we curate a lineup of the freshest talents from Folkestone and Kent, showcasing the vibrant local music scene.

At Nu-Wave, our mission is to create a space where you can deeply connect with these talented artists in a beautiful and intimate setting. We’re here to reignite your love for music & rekindle that magical connection between artist and listener.

We are delighted to welcome VESU, a Folkestone & London trio who play melodic, atmospheric minimalist songs capturing freeze frame moments in life. Vesu launch their debut album this Autumn and their first single ‘Valencia’ in June. Their live shows embrace a hard/soft approach with lilting harmonies and heady drones creating a luscious dreamscape to lose yourself in.

Joining the lineup is Spirits of Saturn, a Folkestone & London-based synth-disco act. Led by the mesmerizing frontmen Edmund Blackadder and Early Sans from Superorganism, their danceable, synth-drenched music ignites a glittery flame of hope amidst our present-day clouds of discontent.

Our chosen venue 20th Century Speedway is a hidden-gem in the heart of Folkestone, a red velvet adorned stage with only space for 60 souls to step into its captivating world.
