Back in 2020 whilst in the grips of the Covid pandemic the Black Heart was threatened with closure due to lack of funding. We decided to create a festival with a lineup of good friends and great heavy bands at an unknown future date. The supporters of The Black Heart answered the call and sold out the fest in a matter of days. Fast forward to 2021 and with a huge crowdfunder behind us and some more certainty for the future the festival took place with a stunning array of sets from those involved. Now, here in 2022, The Black Heart is well and truly back ! But we still have a craving itch for hosting some of our favourite bands out there.. so we’re pleased to announce a round 2 of the festival… again a 3 day melee of some of the finest heavy sounds around, this time not as a crowdfunder, but with a contribution of the funds going to charity instead.
