What is Daywalker all about???

There’s a number of factors contributing to the genesis of Daywalker.

Memories of (under age!) teenage years going out on a Friday night and hearing the DJ spin some new tunes that I’d never heard before. Songs that became fast favourites that I still listen to almost 30 years on, and that some now regard as classics.

The desire now to go out and hear new tunes as well as my old favourites – but not screw up circadian rhythms in the process!

The realisation that it’s all too easy to get stuck in a musical rut and not listen to anything new.

So, Daywalker was born!

A chance to sit around with your mates – or come and make some new ones. Listen to some songs that you know – and maybe some that you don’t. Perhaps find a new favourite. Have a dance if you wish – but enjoy it all for free.

Daywalker doesn’t charge entry – this is purely about listening to music and having a good time with friends.

I make the playlists in advance so that I can balance songs, genres, decades and feel. I also try and make sure that you’ll never hear the same song at Daywalker events in any one year – the playlist for every event will be different.
