Here at Nightmare HQ, we’re well known for our love of all sorts of dark music – the darker the better, darker even than a midnight stroll through the rose garden. But we’re less well known for our liking for horticulture, so we thought we’d introduce you to where we keep not only our music collection but our scythes and stakes (and even our lawnmower)…Bela Lugosi’s Shed.

For our Burning Chrome event, we’re going to be revisiting Chrome from January, but instead of a dystopian future, this is an altogether grittier affair. Our theme will be industrial, synth and electronic, but with the added howl of guitars – if you could expect to hear it in the irradiated wasteland, we’ll be playing it. We’re also going for a post-apocalyptic dress theme – whether you are a Gas Town fume junkie, a Radlands lawgiver or just wasteland trash from the dust sea, come and ride the Damnation Alley to Valhalla with us!

Halloween is almost upon us again, so what better time to resurrect our spookiest of nights, the Nottingham Horror Show? If you were with us for last year’s frightfest, you know what deadly delights are in store for you. If not, then all you need to know is that the finest and ghostliest of goth, post-punk, alternative 80s and synth classics await your pleasure!

It’s been a while since our last visit to the streets of the neon metropolis, so we thought it was time for another Nightmare Presents: CHROME.

We’ve arranged with our good friends at the Olde Salutation Inn to turn us loose in the Attic again for our (Nearly) the End of the F*cking Year Party, but it’ll be on the 30th December, so you can start your partying a full 24 hours before everyone else.

Bela Lugosi may be dead – in fact, we dimly recall a song on that very subject. But at Nightmare HQ, we’ve always maintained that you can’t keep a good man down, or even an evil one, and that very much includes the Prince of Darkness himself. The time has come to reopen the (out)house of horror, and you are very cordially invited.
