22 years?! That's how long we've been at this for now. 22 years of many memorable nights of alternative music, drunken antics, and meeting new faces, including those regulars we've come to know as 'Schismites'. Schism may not have always been in the same venue, but the spirit of each event has followed us from location to location, and we still love celebrating each and every one with you. Here's to 22 more!

Gaming as a medium has been the home to many awesome alt and heavy soundtracks. Dating back to the days of Tony Hawks Pro Skater, Crazy Taxi, Guitar Hero, Doom, Mortal Kombat, and even the Grand Theft Auto games, you’re bound to find countless albums of music that have echoed through the walls of Schism events over the years. Occasionally we choose to celebrate gaming in the most fun way possible, not only by picking out our favourite songs from gaming soundtracks, but by dressing as our favourite characters and paying close attention to those Schismites who dress to impress us with their favourites.
