/Club/London/Dancing and Laughing – Post-punk in London
May 28 @ 21:00 - 02:00 BST£5
Dancing and Laughing was a club night in Manchester, specialising in post-punk, synthpop, dark indie and minimal wave music, running during the years 2012 and 2013.
After moving to London, founder DJ Nathan Nothing twice organised birthday gigs for himself, with the name modified to sound more Southern: “Daancing and Larfing”. During the Covid pandemic in 2020, Dancing and Laughing reappeared as an online version, running for nine editions. With the EBM off-shoot show Work! (From Home) first to be brought to the real world, in March 2022, there was little to resist doing the parent post-punk night, using its original name!
Joining Nathan Nothing on the decks will be his favourite DJing partner from the lockdown shows, Bedsitland’s Queen of Synthpop, DJ Electric Dream!
£5 on the door or £4 in advance (PayPal.Me/nathannothing). Capacity limited to 60 people. Please don’t come if you have the Covid (or a bad cold). Hay fever will be accepted.
Dancing, laughing, drinking and possibly even loving!
