10 years ago: 2012… London hosts the Olympics; some dude jumps off a balloon from the edge of space, and Siri and 4g were brand spanking new. Also the Mayans said the world would end… It didn’t. (or did it? Something to think about).

But who really cares about any of that? September 2012 hosted a far greater event: DJ Jez started his residency at Schism rock club! And as fate would have it, September is also his birthday.

So join us in the celebrations – we’ll be giving away a bottle of bubbly on the night for the best song request (more on that in the coming days) as well as a free shot on entry!

And if that wasn’t enough we have some new blood on the decks in the form of DJ Soundshark! Expect a bunch of tunes from newer bands from all the DJs as we welcome students both familiar with & brand new to Schism for the coming term.

Also: new craft beers on draft, air hockey table, 2 bars.
