The Chambers in Folkestone is STOKED to have this instantly recognisable DJ, raconteur, author, producer, broadcaster and FUN LOVIN’ CRIMINAL – MR HUEY MORGAN come to our basement venue to entertain you with his uber stylish blend of music, born of being the ten year host of one of the only specialist music shows on BBC Radio 2.

Huey is also the longstanding lower East side voice of Saturdays on 6 Music with his critically acclaimed, award winning show featuring music new & old from all four corners of the globe!

He’s the man that joins the dots between funk, soul, disco, classic Hip-Hop & Rock ‘n Roll – and the man who is known for telling laugh-out-loud stories and talking to the listener as if he’d pulled up a bar stool next to them.

Huey’s past is no less significant either; as the front man of legendary 90’s outfit ‘FUN LOVIN’ CRIMINALS’, which is soon approaching it’s 30th anniversary, he is the man who played a HUGE part in this Funk Fried indie bands journey in breaking big worldwide & selling over ten million records!

You could see Huey in one of many venues all over the world but never before will you have had the chance to see him in a venue this intimate (not small – just close up x) with a sound system of some local legend, all set to do him immense justice!
