At some point back in the weeks before Christmas – and yes, booze might have been involved – as we had an evening watching a Nu-Metal countdown on one of the music channels, we resolved that it might be fun to do a night revolving around that.

So, with our friend Kynon onboard, we hatched a plan to revisit our respective youth in metal and alternative clubs, playing the songs we and our friends loved – which interestingly, as it turned out, showed a clear mix of songs, with favourites very much different in our respective home towns.

It turned out to be an epic, fun night. Well over six hours, three sets from each of us, and a substantial turnout on Twitch. Indeed, such fun that we decided to do a second one, and now, a third one – which also turned out to be the last livestream from /amodelofcontrol.com for a little while.
